REVIT & CABERNET 2007
2. International Conference on Managing Urban Land
This conference was the central event in Europe, to bring together a wide range of professionals to share knowledge and best practice experience of the interacting social, environmental, economic and governance issues related to the revitalisation of brownfield sites. At the European level, it served as a forum for stakeholders from INTERREG and framework programmes. At the national level - for the presentation of the research programme REFINA (http://www.refina-info.de/ ), whose projects presented their first results and approaches. At the local level, it was the launching event for the further development and marketing of the area on the former goods station Bad Cannstatt for Stuttgart.
We took on behalf of the state capital of Stuttgart and the REVIT consortium the complete preparation, organization and management of the conference and of the accompanying exhibition.

Workshop
Marketing of brownfields
In the course of the REVIT project, the state capital Stuttgart and the port city of Hamburg held an expert workshop on marketing issues in the range of brownfields. The workshop was held in September 2007 in Hamburg.
Our task was the conception, selection of speakers, preparation and the organizational implementation as well as the reporting on workshop results.
Training Courses
Coaching in various training courses
As a member of the Steering Committee of the Fortbildungsverbund Boden und Altlasten we regularly organized seminars and training courses in recent years, for example, on quality management in brownfield treatment.
This voluntary and professional commitment serves the development of the sector.
