Research & Development
As a link between research and practice, we see a plenty of available good research results, which for different reasons are not considered in the practice.
With our projects, we contribute to improve the transfer of research results into practice. We are best situated for that because we have a good overview of current funding priorities in our areas of expertise through our work in national and international funded research and development projects. At the same time, we see deficiencies in development occurring in everyday routine, whereas handling projects in our other fields of expertise.
Below are some examples of how we support the transfer
- Compilation R & D results, evaluation of the relevance in practice and deduction of further development needs (JOINT, EUBRA)
- Presentation of R & D results in an easily understandable form to facilitate access. (REVIT self guiding trail, ELNAB)
- Development of testing methods for the verification of the technical performance of innovative remediation techniques (PROMOTE) Transfer of current research findings into practice through pilot and demonstration projects (e.g. MAGIC)
